Two Injured In Multi-Vehicle Raleigh Wreck

RALEIGH, N.C. — Investigators said a pregnant woman driving west on Interstate 40 suffered a seizure and crossed the median, hitting three vehicles in the eastbound lane Friday morning.

The head-on collision happened at 8:17 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 at Gorman Street, near the U.S. 1 split.

The woman, who is 10 weeks pregnant, and another person were taken to WakeMed. Their conditions, as well as the condition of the unborn child, have not been released.
