DURHAM, N.C. — A Duke basketball player was in court Monday charged with assaulting his girlfriend.
Casey Sanders is accused of grabbing his girlfriend, a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, and pushing her into a wall during an argument last month.
Sanders was ordered to attend an anger management class and steer clear of any criminal activity.
The judge also told him to either stay in school or get a job for at least a year.
