Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C., DEC. 2, 1998 — A Raleigh towing company, under investigation for questionable business practices, is being forced to turn over records to the state.

On Wednesday, a judge ordered Brentwood Towing and Recovery to produce records requested by the North Carolina Department of Justice.

The paperwork includes all towing contracts, tax returns, financial statements and procedural manuals.

The lawyer for Brentwood, which has since become "Action Towing," blamed WRAL's 5 On Your Side for the company's legal problems.
