Wartime Patches Awarded To Soldiers For Service In Afghanistan

Posted Updated

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Some Special Operations soldiers at Fort Bragg received their combat patch -- a symbol of wartime experience.

The patch was awarded to members of the 112th Special Operations Signal Battalion Wednesday for their work in Operation Enduring Freedom.

From September to April, the soldiers helped set up communications for other soldiers on the front lines in Afghanistan.
