Fayetteville Bus Driver Faces More Lawsuits

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A charter bus driver at the center of an accident that hurt dozens of high school students is in even more trouble.

Darol Britt faces five new lawsuits, bringing the total to 10. Britt was driving a bus that crashed in south Georgia last April, injuring 46 Fayetteville students.

Insurance companies for AMA tours and the Cumberland County School system are now fighting about who should pay damages. Britt himself did not carry insurance.
