Cary, Developers Agree On Plan To Split Construction Costs At Intersection

Posted Updated

CARY — An agreement between developers and the

town of Cary

clears the way for bulldozers at the intersection of U.S. 64 and Cary Parkway.

For over a decade, developers wanted to build offices and possibly a shopping center there. The town rejected any plans that did not include road improvement.

Cary planners and developers worked out a plan to split the $5 million cost for road improvements.

Several builders now have major construction plans for the intersection.
