Research officials at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill say they haven't heard of additional federal money being set aside for research on anthrax or other bacterial agents. But faculty members are getting ready for a shift that will put more money into the fields.
Provost Robert Shelton says faculty have been talking with program officers in Washington who are looking to funnel money into terrorism studies.
