If you are living life after a heart attack or stroke,
MyHeartWatch
is one Web site worth checking out. The Web site produced by the American Heart Association is an online community for patients and their loved ones.
"We really wanted a caring community online that's accessible 24 hours a day, that's free, where people can come together to find the information they need," says communications director Sloan Barnes.
The Web site contains information on the latest treatments, online chats and advice from doctors, and that is only the beginning.
"When you have a heart attack or stroke, there are things besides the physical issues to deal with. There is an emotional aspect and financial aspect of it," Barnes says.
The Web site also offers tips on prevention and how to predict your heart disease risk.
