<b>RALEIGH</b> — Raleigh police say that a man who works for the James E. Strates Shows, the company that manages the rides at the N.C. State Fair, was shot in the leg Friday morning.

Investigators say that David Mitchell, 31, does not know who attacked him. The incident happened  outside the fairgrounds near the train tracks on Beryl Road.

Mitchell went to a local hospital for treatment and was relased.
