Authorities Trying To Learn Identity Of Body Found In Durham

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are still trying to determine the identity of a badly decomposed body found earlier this week.

A motorist made the discovery Friday afternoon at the corner of Hillandale and Horton Roads. Police believe the body is that of a black female in her late teens to early 20s.

Authorities are searching the state's missing persons database trying to identify the body. An autopsy will be performed.
