BCBS announces gift to NCCU
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) has given a $35,000 gift to North Carolina Central University to fund a classroom and lecture series.
Posted — UpdatedBlue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) has given a $35,000 gift to North Carolina Central University to fund a classroom and lecture series. The gift also will allow student and faculty internships with BCBSNC.
The gift grants the nonprofit insurer naming rights to a classroom in NCCU’s School of Business for five years.
The BCBSNC Lecture Series will include up to four lectures in the School of Business and two collaborative events with the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, particularly students in the Public Health curriculum. BCBSNC will provide the lecture speakers. Topics will be determined by BCBSNC in collaboration with NCCU faculty and administrators.
