New campus rabbi serves at Duke
Duke University's new campus rabbi began serving his congregation Tuesday.
Posted — UpdatedRabbi Jeremy Yoskowitz, previously campus rabbi at at the Solomon Schechter Academy in Dallas, succeeds Rabbi Michael Goldman, who is now an assistant rabbi at a congregation in White Plains, N.Y.
Yoskowitz graduated from Washington University in St Louis in 1997 with degrees in psychology and Jewish and Near Eastern studies.
He was ordained as a rabbi at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York in 2008, where he also earned a master's degree in Jewish education.
Yoskowitz said in a statement that one of his primary goals is to increase the level of interaction between the various faiths on campus.
