RALEIGH, N.C. — The Passage Home and Healing Place dedicated a new housing for recovering addicts Thursday in Raleigh.

The apartment complex, called Job's Journey, had 24 units available for those who have successfully completed a program at The Healing Place to break the hold of alcohol and drugs.

"The people who live here are benefiting because they're coming out of The Healing Place, and they want to find a place that will be safe and affordable for them to live," said Jeanne Tedrow, CEO and co-founder of Passage Home.

Ginger Furch is among the first to lease a home at Job's Journey.

"We support each other, and a lot of us went through the same program together. So it's just a wonderful experience living here," she said.
