CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Coach Roy Williams drew big crowds Tuesday night at Fearrington Village in Chapel Hill as he kicked off his book-signing tour.

Williams’ autobiography, "HARD WORK: My Life On and Off the Court," with a foreword by John Grisham, was published this week by Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill.

Williams, head coach of the University of North Carolina men’s basketball team, has the third-highest winning percentage in NCAA history.

Over the last eight years, the 58-year-old Asheville, N.C., native – who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007 – has won 239 games, including 30 in the NCAA Tournament.
