Those who share their time with Wake County schools were honored Tuesday morning at the McKimmon Center on the campus of North Carolina State University.
The school system celebrated local businesses that support the School-to-Career program, which links school work to job training and skills students will need in the workplace.
Local businesses, including WRAL, provide employees for School-to-Career efforts such as job shadowing, internships and classroom speakers.
