Fuquay-Varina, N.C. — Residents of Fuquay-Varina will mark their town's 100th birthday Friday night.
The town of Fuquay Springs was established on March 6, 1909. It became Fuquay-Varina in 1963.
The celebration kicks off at 7 p.m. at the community center.
