Orange County names new library services director

Lucinda Munger will replace director Brenda Stephens, who retired. Munger will begin duties on Jan. 12.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Orange County has hired a new library services director.

Lucinda Munger will replace director Brenda Stephens, who retired. Munger will begin duties on Jan. 12.

Munger, who holds a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University and a master of library and information science degree from the University of South Carolina, has 12 years of experience in local and state government libraries.

She will oversee activities at the Orange County Library in Hillsborough, and its branches.
