UNC-Wilmington educator honored as Professor of the Year
WASHINGTON — A University of North Carolina at Wilmington educator was honored on Thursday as the 2008 Professors of the Year from North Carolina.

Dr. Katherine Bruce, a professor of psychology, and director of the Honors Scholars Program, received the award at a ceremony in Washington D.C., according to a release from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education

The award was presented by CASE and The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Prior to receiving the award, Bruce met with U.S. Sen. Richard Burr.
