Vigil against domestic violence planned in Johnston

— Johnston County Harbor, Inc. will hold a candlelight vigil Aug. 6 to raise awareness of domestic violence.

The vigil was prompted by recent news reports of domestic violence, a spokeswoman said.

The vigil will be begin at 7 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield.

    Harbor is supposed to help women who have been abused in their relationship. They tell you everything you tell them is CONFIDENTIAL. Well, it isn't. When I went and spoke to **** **** a few years ago, another person came up to me and told me word-for-word what I had told **** ****. So, therefore I did not go back and get the help that I so much needed. This "HARBOR" should do as they so they will do.
