CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Police are looking for the suspects accused of arson and breaking and entering at the First Baptist Church, 106 North Roberson St. in Chapel Hill, on Saturday.

Around 5 a.m., the church sign in front of the building was lit on fire, Chapel Hill Police Lt. Kevin Gunter said. The fire department used a portable water canister to extinguish the fire.

Gunter said the break-in occurred between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, but appeared to be unrelated to the fire. The suspects entered through an unsecured front door.

Gunter said nothing was reported missing from the church.
