New Raleigh foundation offers grants for charitable projects

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Jandy Ammons Foundation, formed by Jan and Andy Ammons last fall, is accepting proposals for its first round of community grants.

The foundation will fund projects of 501(c)(3) organizations that benefit wildlife/nature conservation, educational projects, art installations or Christian church missions.

Initial grant applications should be submitted by July 15. The foundation board will follow up with invitations for full proposals and award grants by the end of the calendar year.
