NC Zoo hosting day camps for children with autism, Asperger's
The North Carolina Zoo is taking applications for June day cams for children diagnosed with autism or Asperger's Syndrome.

Camp KidZu, designed for children with high-functioning autism or Asperger's Syndrome who do not require significant behavioral support, is a way for children to experience what the zoo has to offer, officials said.
Activities during the three-day camps include zookeeper talks, visiting animal exhibits, arts and crafts and other hands-on activities.
Children should be entering grades one through six. Each camp is limited to 10 campers, and parents or caregivers are welcome to attend.
Campers should bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks.
