N.C. Highway 98 Reopened After Accident
A multiple-vehicle accident forced the closure of N.C. Highway 98 near Falls Lake State Park for about an hour Friday afternoon.
Posted — UpdatedWAKE FOREST, N.C. — A multiple-vehicle accident forced the closure of N.C. Highway 98 near Falls Lake State Park for about an hour Friday afternoon.
The state Highway Patrol said the accident left several people injured. No more information on their conditions was immediately available.
The accident occurred on N.C. 98 just west of Stony Hill Road shortly before noon, troopers said. The highway was reopened by around 1 p.m.
