I just heard about this last night... Bird truly was an amazing person. He was terrifically caring and helpful to people. I was honored to know him and the motorcycling world is diminished by his loss. Condolences to his family and friends.

Bird was one of the kindess people out there and I know everyone that was riding alone side of him when this happened. He was not cutting up at all. This is a sad lose for all of his biker family and his family. Please show respect to his family in your post. Thank you to the nice comments from all others,God Bless!

Yes, he was riding a Harley.

  • Twittyfan Jun 25, 2012

It could have been a tire that leaked down or blew out or it could be a mechanical failure of some sort.. It doesn't mean he was playing around etc.. I understand he was an experienced biker. Of course the first thing that comes to peoples mind is being negative he was playing and speeding or just throwing off on bikers all together. Just pray for the family and his biker family to get through this sad situation.

It makes me wonder if he was riding a harley.I say this because
I had a friend who had one that all of sudden started to got a BAD shimmy in the front forks.I know this is true because I was riding with him at the time.I was 2 bike lengths behind him.
luckly we was only going about 25 mph in town and was able to stop and call for a trailer.Sorry to hear about the lost.R.I.P. fellow biker.

As a former biker, I know that bad things can happen. This is a terrible thing for friends and family of this man. I pray that every biker will ride safely. Prayers to everyone who knew him.
