Morrisville man charged with running over man

A 21-year-old Morrisville man has been charged with running over a man and then fleeing the scene early Sunday, according to an arrest warrant.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 21-year-old Morrisville man has been charged with running over a man and then fleeing the scene early Sunday, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrant states that Sean Pierre Tolentino, of 1932 Folsom Lane, was driving a vehicle that struck James Strickland in Raleigh. Tolentino was impaired by alcohol at the time, the warrants states.

The extent of Strickland's injuries wasn't clear.

Tolentino was charged with felony hit-and-run causing injuries and driving while impaired. He was being held in the Wake County jail under a $26,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
