Moore man charged with stabbing man in chest

A Moore County man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in the chest on Thursday, July 3.

ROBBINS, N.C. — A Moore County man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in the chest on Thursday, July 3.

Deputies responding to calls about an assault found Michael Louis Davis, 49, of Robbins, lying on the ground at 244 Sarah Road. Davis had a stab wound to the chest.

EMS workers transported to Davis to First Health Moore Regional Hospital. He was admitted to the intensive-care unit.

Detectives chargd Lawson Junior Brower, 55, of Sarah Road, with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Brower was being held in the Moore County Detention Center under a $150,000 bond on Monday afternoon. His first court date was set for July 21.
