Moore County man charged with rape of handicapped woman

— A 35-year-old Robbins man has been charged with sexually assaulting a handicapped woman, the Moore County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Karl August Espinoza Jr., of 224 Sunset Lane, is charged with second-degree rape of a handicapped person, felony failure to report a change of address by a sex offender and sexual battery.

According to the sheriff's office, Espinoza assaulted a 21-year-old woman from the Robbins area on July 6.

Espinoza was being held in the Moore County jail Tuesday under a $257,500 bond. He is scheduled to make a court appearance July 18.

    Bond not nearly high enough for this sicko.
    Plus, that he was already a sex offender and was allowed out of prison is why this happened.
    Is the woman somewhere safe from him now?
