Minor injury reported after trucks crash into Fayetteville restaurant

One person suffered minor injuries Friday morning when two trucks crashed into a restaurant on Raeford Road in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One person suffered minor injuries Friday morning when two trucks crashed into a restaurant on Raeford Road in Fayetteville.

According to Fayetteville police, a truck's accelerator got stuck outside Zorba's at about 9:20 a.m. The truck hit another truck in the parking lot, forcing both vehicles into the restaurant.

A person inside was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with a foot injury.

No charges will be filed in the incident, which did about $10,000 in damage to the restaurant.
