Millbrook High School band director suspended after arrest

RALEIGH – Millbrook High School suspended its band director Wednesday after she was arrested early Wednesday.
Raleigh police charged Natalie Ledford Kerr, 36, of 5122 Lady of the Lake Drive, Raleigh, with simple assault and driving while impaired.
Court documents allege that she hit her husband, Michael Dana Kerr, 37.
He was also arrested on a charge of communicating threats at his wife.
A Wake County Public School System spokeswoman confirmed that Natalie Kerr works at the school but has been suspended with pay.
