Men sought in Creedmoor store robbery

Authorities are searching for two men armed with handguns who robbed clerks and customers at the Northside Grocery, on U.S. Highway 15, Saturday, authorities said.

CREEDMOOR, N.C. — Authorities are searching for two men armed with handguns who robbed clerks and customers at the Northside Grocery, on U.S. Highway 15, Saturday, authorities said.

The gunmen left in a brown or burgundy Honda Accord or Civic. Authorities said they think the men then traveled on Interstate 85 toward Durham County.

The two men, who are believed to be in their early 20s, were videotaped by store surveillance cameras. Police are hoping someone might be able to identify the men from the images.

One man is described as approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. The other is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weights 180 pounds.
