FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for two men who were caught on surveillance video robbing a hotel earlier this month.

Police said officers responded to the Rodeway Inn at 1957 Cedar Creek road just before 10 p.m. on June 7 in reference to a reported armed robbery.

Authorities said two men, one with a shotgun in hand, approached the cash register and demanded money. They fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

One man was described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall, between the ages of 25 and 30 and weighing about 140 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie, sweat pants and a white bandana covering his nose and mouth. The second man was described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall, between 20 to 25 years old and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a hoodie and jeans.
