Marine sergeant arrested on child sex charge
Sgt. Duane F. Bachesta, 26, of St. Clair, Ill., faces charges of indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery.

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Onslow County sheriff's deputies arrested a Marine sergeant stationed at Camp Lejeune Wednesday on charges that he sexually abused a child.
Sgt. Duane F. Bachesta, 26, of St. Clair, Ill., faces charges of indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery.
Bachesta is an imagery analyst assigned to 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
He joined the Marine Corps in March 2002 and deployed to Afghanistan from March to November 2008. He was promoted to sergeant in September 2008.
