Marine Dies at Camp Lejeune
A Marine with the 24th Marine expeditionary unit died from a gunshot wound Sunday evening.
Posted — UpdatedCAMP LEJEUNE — A Marine with the 24th Marine expeditionary unit died from a gunshot wound Sunday evening.
The Marine was medically evacuated to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, where doctors pronounced him dead at 7:04 p.m., officials said.
The Marine’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. Military police were investigating the incident.
