Man wanted for attempted murder in Henderson shooting

Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting Sunday afternoon in Henderson.

HENDERSON, N.C. — Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting Sunday afternoon in Henderson.

Kyshaun Leondree Norrell is wanted on a charge of attempted murder in the shooting of Quincy Gregory, 29, of 426 Ford St.

Investigators say Gregory and another person, Amil Davis, 33, showed up at Maria Parham Medical Center with gunshot wounds shortly before 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Davis, of 801 Water St., was treated and released.

Police said both were shot in the 600 block of West Rockspring Street in Henderson.

Neither a photo nor description of Norrell was available Monday afternoon, but police ask that anyone with information about his whereabouts to call the Henderson Police Department at 252-438-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 252-492-1925.

Crime Stoppers will pay rewards of up to $2,000 for information leading to a conviction in the case.
