Man sought in robbery of Halifax County grocery store
The Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Friday that it is looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at the United Food Mart Thursday night.

ENFIELD, N.C. — The Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Friday that it is looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at the United Food Mart Thursday night.
Deputies say the man robbed the store, at 115 N. McDaniel St. in Enfield, at gunpoint and took an undisclosed amount of money around 7 p.m.
Authorities say the robber could have been driving a blue Delta 88 Oldsmobile with plastic over the rear window on the driver's side.
Anyone with information about this vehicle or the robbery is asked to call the Halifax County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 919-583-4444.
