Raleigh police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man caught on a surveillance video robbing a BB&T branch Friday afternoon.

The bank, at 4460 Six Forks Road, was robbed at 3 p.m. by a white man in his 30s to 40s standing 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing what appeared to be a green T-shirt over a long-sleeved white shirt, a dark hat, dark pants and white shoes.

He was last seen fleeing on foot.

Anyone with information that might assist investigators is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357 or report a tip online at the Crime Stoppers website.

Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
