Man sought in Raleigh bank robbery

Raleigh police are looking for a man in connection with a SunTrust Bank branch Tuesday afternoon.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for a man in connection with a SunTrust Bank branch Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators said the man walked into the bank at 7320 Creedmoor Road shortly before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and handed a teller a note demanding money.

He fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash.

The robber was described as a slender white man in his 50s to 60s, who was about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a white cap.
