Man sought in Fayetteville ATM robbery

Fayetteville police are trying to identify a man wanted in connection with an ATM robbery last week.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are trying to identify a man wanted in connection with an ATM robbery last week.

Investigators said the victim was withdrawing money from a shopping center ATM in the 5000 block of Morganton Road on Oct. 17 when the man showed a handgun, demanded money and left in a dark-blue sedan, possibly a BMW.

He was black with a medium complexion, in his mid-20s, stood about 5 feet 9 inches tall and had a slim build. He was wearing a bright purple hoodie sweatshirt, dark jeans and had a piercing above his eyebrow of a gold barbell with spikes.
