Man sought in Durham larceny

Durham police were searching Thursday for Christopher Lamont Donnell, 33, who is wanted on felony larceny charges.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police were searching Thursday for Christopher Lamont Donnell, 33, who is wanted on felony larceny charges.

Investigators did not provide details of the larceny.

Police described Donnell as a black man, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He is known to operate a burgundy 1999 Dodge Stratus.

Anyone with information about Donnell's whereabouts should call Investigator James Carnevale at 919-560-4582, ext. 29239 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers do not have to identify themselves.

According to state Department of Correction records, Donnell's criminal record dates to 1992 includes numerous convictions for drug trafficking, breaking-and-entering, forgery and larceny. He has also been convicted of misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury and conspiracy to commit crimes against nature.
