Man shot, killed while robbing Raleigh hotel room

A 36-year-old man was shot to death at Sun Suites Extended Stay Hotel in Raleigh early Sunday as he and another man attempted to rob someone inside a hotel room, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 36-year-old man was shot to death at Sun Suites Extended Stay Hotel in Raleigh early Sunday as he and another man attempted to rob someone inside a hotel room, police said.

Investigators identified the man as Terry Lebrone Wilson.

The shooting happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. at 3215 Capital Blvd.

Authorities believe the second suspect fled in a small, gold-colored car.

No charges were filed Sunday night.
