Man shot, killed in Raleigh apartment complex
Raleigh police responding to a shooting call found a man dead outside an apartment complex on East Lane Street early Sunday.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police responding to a shooting call found a man dead outside an apartment complex on East Lane Street early Sunday.
The shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at 925-4 E. Lane St., south of Oakwood Cemetery.
Police withheld the victim's identity, pending notification of next-of-kin.
Detectives from the department's Major Crimes Task Force were investigating. Anyone with information that might help the investigation was asked to call detectives at 919-996-3555.
