One in custody, one in hospital after gunfire at Raleigh gas station

A man was shot in the leg Wednesday night during a fight outside a gas station convenience store in Raleigh, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man was shot in the leg Wednesday night during a fight outside a convenience store in Raleigh, police said. 

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said the fight broke out between two people in the parking lot of Fast Fare, at 2401 E. Millbrook Road, shortly before 8:30 p.m.

By 5 a.m. Thursday, police had made an arrest. They did not immediately released the name of the suspect.
