Man shot dead outside Henderson pool hall
Officers responded to a reported shooting at the Mexican Pool Room, at 1109 Old Norlina Road, at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday. They found Jose Verdine, 20, of Henderson had been shot and killed in the parking lot outside the business.

The case remains under investigation.
