A federal judge sentenced a Wake Forest man Thursday for his role in one of the largest drug busts in state history.

Fernando Almaraz pleaded guilty in November for his role in a large-scale drug operation run out of Wake County. The judge gave him 34 years in prison.

Raleigh police pulled Almaraz over last summer on U.S. 1. Officers said they found $10 million worth of cocaine in his RV.
