Man robs Raleigh bank

Raleigh police are searching for a man seen fleeing into an apartment complex after a bank robbery on Capital Boulevard Wednesday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are searching for a man seen fleeing into an apartment complex after a bank robbery on Capital Boulevard Wednesday morning.

Police said that a man implied he had a weapon during the robbery of the Wachovia bank in a shopping center at 4560 Capital Blvd. around 9:15 a.m. The man was last seen running into an apartment complex behind the shopping center.

He was described as 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a wig, a mask and a pullover with yellow sleeves.
