RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are asking for the public’s help to identify three men who were seen in security video last month robbing a man who had just gotten cash out of an ATM.

The crime happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. Police said the 48-year-old victim withdrew cash from the ATM – near the intersection of Trawick Road and New Bern Aveune – when he was approached by the robbers.

The first robber punched him in the face and stole his wallet and the cash before walking away. The two others then kicked and threatened him with a wooden stick and took his watch.

The second and third robbers fled when another customer drove up to the ATM.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357 or visit the Crime Stoppers website for text and email options. Crime Stoppers pays cash for tips that solve cases, and callers are confidential.
