Man robbed, beaten after using Raleigh ATM
Raleigh police are asking for the public's help to identify three men who were seen in security video last month robbing a man who had just gotten cash out of an ATM.
Posted — UpdatedThe crime happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. Police said the 48-year-old victim withdrew cash from the ATM – near the intersection of Trawick Road and New Bern Aveune – when he was approached by the robbers.
The first robber punched him in the face and stole his wallet and the cash before walking away. The two others then kicked and threatened him with a wooden stick and took his watch.
The second and third robbers fled when another customer drove up to the ATM.
