— An 18-year-old man died after his vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle along West Castalia Road in Nashville Thursday evening.

State troopers said the vehicle driven by Markee Dontrell Strickland, of Rocky Mount, was split in half. Strickland was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the roadway.

The second vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and rolled over.

Strickland died of his injuries, troopers said.

Details about the condition of the other driver weren't available.

Sad story indeed that could've been avoided. The driver of the truck works with a friend of mine & his sister works with another friend of mine. Witnesses said the 18 yr old had passed several cars speeding the whole time. The speed limit was already 55 in that area. My prayers go out to the individuals involved.

Is it me or is this article not really specific. Which driver crossed the center line?
