Man killed early Saturday in Hope Mills shooting
A 22-year-old Hope Mills man died early Saturday morning after being shot on Casper Drive, authorities said.

According to the Hope Mills Police Department, Lamont Deshay Saffore, of Crenshaw Drive, was shot just after midnight at a home in the Golf Acres subdivision off Rockfish Road.
Investigators took Brionte Jaquan Lloyd, 23, into custody for questioning following the incident, but no charges have been filed.
Authorities said the incident is open and still under investigation. No other information was released.
