Man injured in fight near popular Raleigh bars

Raleigh, N.C. — One person was injured during a fight in a parking lot behind a section of popular bars on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh early Saturday morning, police said.
According to police a group of people got into a fight in the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue around 2:20 a.m Saturday.
The victim, 23-year-old Anthony McDonald Jr., told police he was assaulted by multiple suspects and was punched, kicked, and cut by a knife.
McDonald suffered a laceration to his head and was taken to WakeMed for treatment of his injuries, which are non life-threatening.
