Man found stabbed in Durham park

Officers found a 36-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times in Eastend Park, off North Alston Avenue, early Sunday, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — Officers found a 36-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times in Eastend Park, off North Alston Avenue, early Sunday, police said.

A 911 caller reported the stabbing at the park, bounded by Mallard Avenue and Neville Street, shortly after 5 a.m.

The victim was transported to the emergency room at Duke University Medical Center. He was listed in serious condition but was stable later Sunday.
